Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Social Worker position is available for the upcoming school year in an elementary PreK-3rd grade building located onsite in Harvard, IL. This contract role is dedicated to supporting the social and emotional development of students in a structured school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct social work services to students in PreK through 3rd grade, addressing social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop intervention plans that support student success.
• Conduct assessments and referrals for community resources as needed.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and create supportive strategies.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of services and interventions.

Qualifications:

• Active Social Work License (SW License) required.
• Professional Educator License (PEL) required.
• Experience working within elementary school settings preferred.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with young students and their families.
