A contract opportunity is available for a Social Worker specializing in elementary school settings. This role is suited for a dedicated professional looking to provide impactful support within a school environment, focusing on enhancing students' social and emotional well-being. The position is located in Des Plaines, IL, and is set for the current school year (CSY).

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Develop and implement intervention plans in collaboration with teachers, parents, and school staff
• Provide individual and group counseling to support student development and resilience
• Coordinate resources and referrals to community services as necessary
• Advocate for students' welfare and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Professional degree in social work (MSW preferred)
• Licensed or license-eligible as a school social worker
• Experience working within an elementary school setting
