Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated School Social Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support and assistance to students in High School and families in need, particularly focusing on children and vulnerable populations. This role requires a strong commitment to advocating for clients, understanding their unique challenges, and facilitating access to necessary resources. The Social Worker will work collaboratively with various stakeholders to promote the well-being of clients and enhance their quality of life.
Duties
- Conduct assessments to identify client needs and develop appropriate intervention plans.
- Provide crisis intervention services to individuals facing immediate challenges.
- Collaborate with child protective services to ensure the safety and welfare of children.
- Educate clients and families about available resources, services, and support systems.
- Manage conflicts effectively while promoting positive outcomes for clients.
- Advocate for child welfare by working with community organizations and agencies.
- Offer counseling services that address behavioral health issues, focusing on cultural diversity.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, progress notes, and case management documentation.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay informed about best practices in social work.
