A contracted opportunity is available for a School Psychologist to support student mental health and academic success for the current school year in Byron, MN. This role focuses on providing psychological services within an educational setting, ensuring student well-being and promoting positive learning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student needs
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide counseling and intervention services to students experiencing emotional or behavioral challenges
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to design and implement strategies for student success
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with relevant educational and legal standards

Qualifications:

  • Licensed or eligible for licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Experience in conducting comprehensive psychological assessments within school settings
  • Strong knowledge of child development, learning theories, and mental health interventions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and school personnel
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
