Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or Education, active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification, and a minimum 1+ years BCBA experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A fantastic school district located in Norwalk, CT is seeking a full-time Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join the team. In this role, you will provide essential support and services to students, helping to foster academic achievement and personal growth. You will collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure each student receives the appropriate care and instruction.
Responsibilities:
Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and design Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
Supervise Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and behavior support staff
Collaborate with IEP teams to align behavioral goals with academic plans
Monitor and document student progress
Train staff and families on behavior strategies
Promote a safe and supportive learning environment
Qualifications:
Active BCBA certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
Experience working with students in educational or clinical settings
Strong communication and leadership skills
Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Knowledge of evidence-based behavior analysis methods
