This position plans, implements, coordinates and monitors rehabilitation programs for individuals being served at the Workforce & Technology Center (WTC). Counseling and guidance are provided to consumers to ensure that comprehensive services contribute to the achievement of established training goals, support career and employment objectives, and address the personal, social and independence skills necessary to promote employment outcomes. Provides program support to students and staff in the management and direction of services for individuals who are Deaf and/or Hard of Hearing at WTC.Education: Possession of a Bachelor's degree.

Experience: Two years of professional experience in a behavioral or social science-related field or one year of professional experience as a Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist I providing rehabilitation counseling or vocational evaluation services to clients with physical or behavioral disabilities, or teaching services to clients with partial or total visual impairment.

Note: A Master's degree and one year of experience in a behavioral or social science-related field may be substituted for two years of the required experience.Applicants must meet the selective qualification(s) to be considered.
