Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The BCBA plays a vital role in delivering high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children, adolescents, and families. This position involves conducting assessments, designing individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), supervising direct care staff, and collaborating with caregivers and community partners to promote independence, growth, and long-term stability.
As a clinical leader, the BCBA ensures that all services meet the highest professional and ethical standards while supporting the organization’s mission to improve the lives of the individuals we serve.
Scope of Work
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop evidence-based, individualized treatment plans.
- Design, implement, and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) tailored to client needs.
- Provide clinical supervision, training, and mentorship to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and direct care staff.
- Collect, review, and analyze behavioral data to guide treatment decisions and measure progress.
- Collaborate with families, schools, and community partners to ensure continuity of care.
- Deliver parent and caregiver training, equipping families with effective strategies for home and community settings.
- Ensure compliance with state regulations, BACB ethical standards, and insurance requirements.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including progress notes, reassessments, and treatment updates.
- Actively participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, providing clinical insights and updates.
- Contribute to organizational quality improvement efforts and promote best practices in ABA service delivery.
What We Are Looking For
- This is an independent contractor role (1099) with flexibility to work in a hybrid setup.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree or higher in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field.
- Current BCBA certification in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Minimum of 1 year of ABA experience in home, school, or community-based settings.
- Strong knowledge of behavior analytic principles, treatment planning, and data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with families, staff, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Must pass a criminal background check.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supervising RBTs and other staff.
- Demonstrated success in conducting parent/caregiver training.
