North Dakota State Hospital - Jamestown, ND - Accredited by The Joint Commission

The North Dakota State Hospital located in Jamestown is seeking a staff Psychiatrist to join our 20-member clinical staff. NDSH is a Joint Commission accredited and Medicare certified hospital with an approximate bed count of 300 adult psychiatric, chemically dependent and secure service populations.

Physician will be responsible for daily rounds; 50% time with patients; participate in rotation for limited hospital-wide call shared with NP's and Clinical Psychologists; present legal testimony; record diagnostic and mental status interviews; record physical exam reports; record weekly progress notes; provide leadership for clinical team; participate in peer review; obtain a minimum of 25 hours of CMEs per year; maintain competencies; and achieve/maintain board certification, to mention a few of the duties/responsibilities.

To be considered for this position, you must be Board Certified or Eligible M.D. with residency in psychiatry. Must be eligible to qualify for licensure in North Dakota.
