Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral therapy and experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism. As a BCBA, you will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, conducting assessments, and providing support to clients and their families. Your expertise in applied behavior analysis will be crucial in promoting positive behavioral changes and enhancing the quality of life for those you serve.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess clients' needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
- Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions using applied behavior analysis techniques.
- Collect and analyze data to monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including educators, therapists, and family members, to ensure holistic care.
- Provide training and support to staff on best practices in behavioral health and patient care.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Conduct intake assessments for new clients to gather relevant medical history and behavioral concerns.
- Advocate for clients' needs within the community and educational settings.
Requirements
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
- Proven experience working with children and individuals with disabilities, particularly those with autism.
- Strong understanding of special education principles and practices.
- Proficiency in data collection methods related to behavioral health.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records, and documentation standards.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective patient assessment and collaboration with families.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development in the field of applied behavior analysis.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $65.00 - $67.00 per hour

Education:
- Master's (Preferred)
Experience:
- Pediatrics: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- BCBA license (Preferred)
