A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is sought to provide specialized behavioral support within a K-12 school district located in Bellevue, WA. This full-time, contract position spans the full school year from August 25, 2024 through June 17, 2025, with possible extension to June 24 due to snow days. The role involves working closely with school teams to complete Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), develop behavioral intervention plans, and enhance the team's capacity to implement these strategies effectively and independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with teachers, Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), and paraprofessionals to conduct FBAs.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavioral plans tailored to student needs.
• Provide training, coaching, and ongoing support to school staff to improve their ability to manage behavioral challenges.
• Travel among up to five or six school sites to deliver services, with the base office situated in the district office.
• Maintain compliance with state guidelines, including holding an active ESA certification.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential required.
• Current State ESA certificate mandatory.
• Proven experience in educational settings providing behavioral assessment and intervention.
• Ability to work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams.
• Willingness to be itinerant and flexible within the district's school sites.

This is an onsite position, as remote options are limited and staff preference is strongly in favor of in-person collaboration. The position offers 37.5 hours per week and competitive pay ranging from $51 to $60 per hour, based on experience.
