Position Overview:
We are actively hiring Behavioral Support professionals (RBT) for full-time school-based positions in Yelm, WA for the 20252026 school year.
This role supports students with behavioral needs, either in a 1:1 setting or across elementary-level classrooms as a building-based BSA.
Youll work collaboratively with the districts SPED team, behavior specialists, and classroom teachers to implement behavior intervention strategies and help students succeed socially and academically.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct behavioral support to students (1:1 or classroom-based)
Implement and document behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
Work closely with teachers, counselors, and school staff to support student needs
Use de-escalation strategies and behavior management tools effectively
Track student progress and communicate with teams and families
Requirements:
Current Washington State certification (BSA, CBT, or RBT accepted)
Completed fingerprinting through OSPI (or willingness to complete before start)
Prior experience working in a school setting or with students with behavioral needs is strongly preferred
