A successful candidate will be a compassionate individual whom will put their clients treatment first, efficiently priority/time manage, and effectively offer treatment at the Outpatient and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) levels of care.

Job Role and Responsibilities:
- Maintaining caseload meeting the needs of the patients and following regulatory guidelines
- Ensure completion of all required paperwork (i.e. psychosocial summary, treatment plan, progress notes etcetera) as outlined by regulation both accurately and timely.
- Provides evidence-based and other approved counseling techniques and interventions to facilitate client success.
- Offer assessment, individual, and group sessions.
- Provides appropriate interventions to facilitate engagement of non-compliant patients.Roxbury’s outpatient program specializes in the treatment of substance use disorders while using an integrated treatment approach for individuals with co-occurring mental health needs. We provide assessments, individual therapy, group therapy, and intensive outpatient treatment.
Education:
- Master’s Degree or above from an accredited college with a major in Counseling, Social Work, Chemical Dependency, Psychology or other related field – OR –
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college with a major in Counseling, Social Work, Chemical Dependency, Psychology or other related field and one year of clinical experience – OR –
- Associate's degree from an accredited college with a major in Counseling, Social Work, Chemical Dependency, Psychology or other related field and two years of clinical experience - OR -
- Licensed RN with 1 year of counseling experience in a health/human services field – OR –
- Certified additions counselor
