This full-time Social Worker position is based in an elementary school setting, working Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The role focuses on early intervention services, supporting up to 40 students to promote their social-emotional well-being and academic success. You will collaborate closely with a fellow social worker who is serving in a .5 capacity, ensuring comprehensive support for the student population.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct social work services and early intervention support to elementary students
  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized plans, and implement interventions to address social, emotional, and behavioral needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school staff to foster a supportive learning environment
  • Monitor student progress and adjust strategies as needed
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to a multidisciplinary approach to student support

  • Experience working as a school social worker or in an elementary school setting
