This role offers the opportunity to help K12 students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally by providing comprehensive psychological services and collaborating closely with educators, families, and support staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological and educational assessments to identify students strengths, challenges, and needs

• Develop and participate in the implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies

• Provide individual and group counseling to address academic, behavioral, and emotional concerns

• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to promote student success and well-being

• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and offer recommendations based on assessment data

• Monitor student progress and modify interventions as needed

• Ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations

• Maintain accurate documentation and timely reports in accordance with district policies

Qualifications:

• Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program

• Current Michigan School Psychologist certification

• Previous school-based experience preferred

• Strong skills in assessment, counseling, and consultation

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
