A full-time Social Worker position is available within a K-12 school setting in Burgettstown, PA, offering a contract for the current school year. This role provides a unique opportunity to support students social and emotional well-being across various grade levels, with a primary focus on middle and high school populations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse caseload of K-12 students, primarily middle and high school, with occasional support provided to the nearby elementary school.
  • Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address behavioral, social, and emotional challenges.
  • Collaborate with school staff, families, and community resources to develop and implement effective intervention strategies.
  • Assist in crisis prevention and response protocols.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies.
  • Provide advocacy and support to students facing academic or social difficulties.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Licensed Social Worker with experience in school settings.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience serving K-12 populations, preferably with emphasis on middle and high school students.
  • Knowledge of community resources and support services.
  • Capacity to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

Location and Schedule:

  • Position based onsite in Burgettstown, PA.
  • Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, 37.5 hours per week.
  • Immediate start available, with interview opportunities flexible this week and next.
