An opening is available for a School Psychologist serving the 2025/2026 academic year in an elementary school setting. This contract position is based in Lockport, NY, with primary responsibilities centered around a single K-5 elementary site and occasional duties at additional buildings. The role is full-time, involving 36 hours per week from 7:25 AM to 2:40 PM, starting September 2 and ending June 24.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments for K-5 students to identify learning, behavioral, and emotional needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Provide consultation and support to teachers and school personnel regarding student interventions.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student progress monitoring.
  • Occasionally fulfill responsibilities across multiple school buildings as required.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience working with elementary-aged children, preferably K-5.
  • Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and educational interventions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with a diverse school community.
  • Ability to manage a caseload efficiently while maintaining compliance with district policies.
