Job Description

Job Title: BCBA Therapist

Job Summary:

As a BCBA Therapist, you will be responsible for providing behavior analysis services to individuals with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities. You will conduct assessments, develop behavior intervention plans, and oversee the implementation of strategies to improve communication, social skills, and overall behavior.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Conduct functional behavior assessments to determine the underlying causes of problem behaviors
• Develop individualized behavior intervention plans based on assessment results
• Provide direct 1:1 therapy sessions to clients to teach new skills and decrease challenging behaviors
• Train and supervise behavior technicians on implementing behavior intervention plans
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure consistency in implementing behavior strategies
• Monitor client progress and make adjustments to intervention plans as needed
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of client sessions and progress

Qualifications and Skills:

• Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field
• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
• Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities
• Strong knowledge of behavior analysis principles and techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in data collection and analysis
