Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Guidance Counselor to join our educational team. The Guidance Counselor creates the master schedule, counsels students, checks student credits and diploma requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Education, or a related field preferred; Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience working with children or adolescents in an educational or counseling setting.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff members.
- Knowledge of behavioral management techniques and individual/group counseling practices.
- Familiarity with mental health counseling principles and childhood development theories.
- Experience in teaching or classroom settings is advantageous.
- Certification or licensure in school counseling or related fields is preferred but not mandatory. We encourage individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of students to apply for this rewarding opportunity as a Guidance Counselor.
