Job Title: Clinical Coordinator, Adult Programs (Grief Support)
Location: New York City (Hybrid Schedule, In-Person Required 2 Evenings/Week)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Clinical Coordinator of Adult Programs to join our team as we launch a new grief support initiative in New York City. This pivotal role combines clinical expertise, program development, volunteer coordination, and community outreach. Key Responsibilities:
Grief Support Group Coordination
- Plan, schedule, and support in-house and virtual grief support groups.
- Conduct intake calls and orientation meetings with prospective participants.
- Be on-site two evenings weekly to support program delivery and crisis management.
- Communicate regularly with group members and maintain a waitlist.
- Refer individuals to therapy or external services as needed.
Volunteer Leadership
- Recruit, interview, train, and supervise Volunteer Group Leaders.
- Provide bi-weekly group supervision and individual consults.
- Foster a strong volunteer community with ongoing education and appreciation.
- Update training materials to reflect current best practices.
Data Management & Program Evaluation
- Maintain participant records using an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system (Apricot).
- Update program materials, manuals, and workflow charts as needed.
- Track community offerings and identify partnership opportunities.
Community Outreach & Education
- Build partnerships with schools, hospitals, therapists, and local agencies.
- Plan and lead workshops, collecting feedback for future improvements.
On-Site Grief Response (OSGR)
- Respond to short-term support needs from businesses or organizations after a death.
- Maintain OSGR materials and analyze usage for quality improvement.
Team & Administrative Collaboration
- Support onboarding and mentorship of new staff.
- Participate in regular 1:1 and team supervision meetings.
- Collaborate with leadership on strategic planning, resource creation, and donor engagement.
- Represent the program at fundraising and awareness events.
Professional Development
- Stay current on research and practices in grief and bereavement.
- Participate in professional trainings and conferences.
Schedule & Structure
- Weekly in-person team meetings (Monday afternoons)
- Regular supervision with Clinical Director
- Schedule structured around acuity-based system and team coordination
- Role starts as part-time, with clear pathway to full-time as program expands
Core Qualifications:
- MSW required; LMSW or LCSW strongly preferred
- 3–5 years of experience in clinical services, program management, and/or community engagement
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience conducting intake assessments and/or group facilitation
- Comfortable using EHR systems and data tracking tools
- Passionate about grief work and supporting adults through loss
