About Job
- Handle all referrals for services, schedule assessments, and/or refer patients to appropriate community resources.
- Complete level of care assessments for clients seeking inpatient and outpatient mental health and detox services.
- Admit new patients to the hospital
- Complete pre-certification with insurance companies to authorize patients' hospitalization
- Work with nursing, medical, and other disciplines to coordinate care for patients
- Master's degree in social work, counseling, or a closely related field required.
- Licensed in the state of Arizona and in good standing (LAC, LPC, LASAC, LISAC, LMSW, LCSW, LAMFT or LMFT)
- Strong working knowledge of DSM-5 criteria, community resources, assessment, and crisis intervention.
- Experience in a behavioral healthcare hospital setting is a plus.
- Must be 21 years old.
- Able to pass a background check, drug screen, and meet qualifications for an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
