Essential Duties: School Social Worker
Qualifications: Required
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work or closely related field
- Experience with behavior management and intervention techniques
- Knowledge of evidence based Social Work and Counseling principles and practices
- Knowledge of community resources
- Understanding of child development
- Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing
- Ability to use Microsoft Office, such as Excel and Word
- Excellent customer service and public relations skills
- Willing to work in a Professional Learning Community
Licensing/Certification Requirements:Valid IVP Level One AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card is required.
Preferred
- Master's degree preferred
- Experience working in a diverse setting
- Understanding of equity work in education
- Bi-lingual
Employment Information: 2025-26 school year; 40 hrs per week ; 194 days per school year
