Our team is passionate about making a difference in the lives of those impacted by substance use and co-occurring disorders. We are seeking a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) to join our mission.

Job Summary As a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) at Recovery Syndicate, you will provide therapeutic services to individuals and families affected by addiction. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering evidence-based treatment, facilitating group and individual counseling sessions, and supporting clients in achieving and maintaining long-term recovery.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify client needs and develop individualized treatment plans.

Provide individual, group, and family counseling services using evidence-based practices.

Facilitate educational and therapeutic groups focused on substance use, coping skills, relapse prevention, and emotional well-being.

Collaborate with clients to set measurable goals and track progress throughout their treatment journey.

Maintain accurate and timely EMR (KIPU) documentation in compliance with state and agency standards.

Work collaboratively with the clinical team to ensure continuity of care.

Stay informed about best practices and emerging trends in addiction treatment.

Uphold ethical standards and maintain client confidentiality in accordance with state and federal regulations.

Attend weekly case review meetings.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Active Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) license in the state of Arizona (required).

Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, or a related field.

Experience working with individuals with substance use disorders is preferred.

Strong understanding of addiction, recovery, and co-occurring mental health disorders.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

Ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds and maintain a nonjudgmental approach.

Proficiency in electronic health record systems is a plus.
