A full-time School Psychologist position is available for the upcoming contract school year, running from August 25th through June 12th. This role involves supporting a K-12 student population by conducting psychological evaluations, writing comprehensive reports, and providing expert consultations to faculty, staff, and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psycho-educational evaluations to assess student learning, behavior, and emotional needs.
  • Develop detailed psychological reports with recommendations tailored for individual student support.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and administration to offer consultations and guidance on intervention strategies.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Maintain compliance with state and district regulations regarding assessment and confidentiality.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Michigan School Psychologist certification is required.
  • Proven experience working in K-12 school settings is preferred.
  • Strong assessment and report-writing skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families.
  • Familiarity with current best practices in school psychology.
