A contract position is available for a School Psychologist to support elementary students in grades pre-kindergarten through 5th grade. This role is based in Detroit, MI, with a school year duration from September 2, 2025, to June 10, 2026. The ideal candidate holds Michigan School Psychologist Licensure and demonstrates a commitment to fostering the academic, social, and emotional well-being of young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students in grades PK-5.
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and administration to address student needs.
- Provide counseling services and crisis intervention as required.
- Support bilingual therapy services to meet the diverse needs of the student population.
Qualifications:
- Valid Michigan School Psychologist Licensure.
- Experience working with elementary-aged children in a school setting.
- Strong understanding of assessment tools and intervention strategies.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Bilingual skills are a valuable asset.
