A K-12 educational setting in the Taylor, MI area is seeking a skilled School Psychologist for a contract position covering the current school year (CSY). This opportunity involves providing comprehensive psychological services to support the academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development of students from kindergarten through 12th grade.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students cognitive, emotional, and developmental needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Provide consultation and support to teachers and school staff regarding behavioral interventions and strategies.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to data-driven decision-making.
  • Support crisis intervention and offer counseling services as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with legal and ethical guidelines.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
  • Valid School Psychologist certification or license as required in Michigan.
  • Experience working with K-12 students in a school environment.
  • Strong assessment and evaluation skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Understanding of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
