About Job
- As an integral part of our team, you'll be responsible for:
- Diagnostic evaluation of outpatients.
- Developing individualized treatment plans for patients' psychiatric and psychotherapeutic needs.
- Utilizing pharmacologic medication management and psychotherapy interventions.
- Collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and counselors.
- Caring for patients who receive complex, coordinated medical and surgical care in an ambulatory setting within a large academic medical center.
- Opportunities to participate in the education and training of other RNs, APRNs, medical students, and trainees. Academic appointments are available.
- Education: Graduate of a Master's Program in Nursing.
- Certification: ANCC certification in psychiatric and mental health nursing as a nurse practitioner.
- Licensure: Completion of appropriate psychopharmacology courses and current prescriptive authority in Massachusetts.
