Lahey Hospital & Medical Center is looking for a talented individual to join our outpatient Psychiatry & Behavioral Medicine Division at our Peabody and Burlington locations.What You'll Do:
  • As an integral part of our team, you'll be responsible for:
  • Diagnostic evaluation of outpatients.
  • Developing individualized treatment plans for patients' psychiatric and psychotherapeutic needs.
  • Utilizing pharmacologic medication management and psychotherapy interventions.
  • Collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and counselors.
  • Caring for patients who receive complex, coordinated medical and surgical care in an ambulatory setting within a large academic medical center.
  • Opportunities to participate in the education and training of other RNs, APRNs, medical students, and trainees. Academic appointments are available.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Graduate of a Master's Program in Nursing.
  • Certification: ANCC certification in psychiatric and mental health nursing as a nurse practitioner.
  • Licensure: Completion of appropriate psychopharmacology courses and current prescriptive authority in Massachusetts.
