Start Date: June 2025
Setting: School-Based (grades 6-8)
Pay: up to $40/hour, with weekly pay
Schedule: Monday–Friday – no weekends, no holidays, no call
Hours: 4 hours/week (based on school bell hours)
Contract Length: 2025 ESY summer session
Candidate Type: Local candidates only – travel stipend not available

Requirements: Qualified applicants MUST have a valid social worker license in the state of Massachusetts.

Job Overview

Nexus Therapy, an American Medical Staffing (AMS) company, is now hiring for a part-time school social worker position for the upcoming 2025 summer session! As a W2 employee of AMS, this position pays up to $40 per hour, with 4 hours per full week worked (1 day per week, can be flexible w/the day) from June 23 through July 18, 2025. You would be working with a great, supportive district about 20 minutes outside of awesome Boston, Massachusetts. You’d be working with 2 6th grade students and 1 8th grade student. You must be licensed as a social worker in the state of Massachusetts.

As a school professional,you will provide essential support and specialized care to students in educational settings. You'll collaborate with school staff, therapists, and families to ensure students receive services tailored to their individual needs. From IEP meetings to direct therapy, your role will have a lasting impact on the well-being and development of students throughout the academic year.
