Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time Social Worker position supports students from Pre-K through 8th grade within an early childhood school setting. Located in Cicero, IL, this role involves working across two school locations during the contract school year (CSY). The ideal candidate will bring a strong commitment to student well-being and have completed their PEL requirements, including acceptable internship hours.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing a caseload of Pre-K to 8th-grade students, providing social work services tailored to their developmental needs
• Collaborating with educators, families, and community resources to address student social, emotional, and behavioral concerns
• Conducting assessments and developing intervention plans to support academic and personal success
• Advocating for students' rights and needs within the school environment
• Maintaining accurate documentation and complying with district policies and state regulations

Qualifications:

• Valid PEL license required; internship hours are accepted toward PEL completion
• Experience working with children in early childhood and elementary settings preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with students, families, and school personnel
• Ability to manage multiple caseloads and locations efficiently

Location: Two school sites in Cicero, IL
Schedule: Monday through Friday, full-time during the contract school year
