Community Participation Supports Manager
Reports to: Program Director

Schedule: Full Time; Typically, Monday – Friday with occasional evenings and weekends depending on business need

Summary:
The Community Participation Supports Manager oversees operations and smooth functioning of the Community Participation Supports Program. The Community Participation Supports Manager works closely with Senior Management to ensure that the Program is properly staffed, and that staff are up to date on all necessary requirements. The Community Participation Supports Manager ensures that Program participants’ needs are met (including regular & appropriate communication) and safety is ensured; that prospective new Program participants are communicated with in a timely and professional fashion; and that all applicable state and federal regulations are monitored and abided by, seeking support as necessary from Senior Management and Administrative staff.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure safety of team and participants.
- Create schedules for staff and program.
- Communicate appropriately and promptly with families and guardians.
- Monitor billable and payroll hours compared to participant’s hours.
- Submit staffing requests.
- Ensure the program is properly staffed (including trained) and stepping in as direct support as needed (see Direct Support Professional (DSP) Job Description).
- Provide mentorship and ongoing supervisory feedback and guidance to staff regularly.
- Addressing disciplinary issues promptly with team members, seeking guidance from senior management as needed.
- Ensure program participants’ needs are met.
- Regularly review, prepare, and participate in PCP/ISA Program goals/meetings with appropriate stakeholders.
- Attend and participate actively in leadership meetings.
- Liaise with community partners.
- Participate in Great Bay Services events related to program – including ones outside of traditional program hours.
- Ensure all applicable state and federal requirements are monitored and abided by, seeking support proactively from senior management.
- Ensure all paperwork is completed timely (including progress notes, incident reports, payroll, etc.)
- Maintain confidential information (regarding members and employees)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferrable in social services, public health, or business management. Equivalent experience may be considered.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in similar programming
- Minimum of 2 years' experience supervising others
- Ability to interface easily with people we support, team members, senior management, and Board of Directors
- Certified DSPs preferred; training will be provided if needed
- MANDT certification preferred
- Prior experience working with adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities preferred, but not required
- First Aid & CPR Certified; training will be provided if needed
- Valid Driver’s License with a legally registered vehicle
- Carry Mandatory Auto Insurance of no less than 100K/300K
Must pass routine criminal background check, DHHS background check, motor vehicle check, and any others required to comply with Medicaid funding
