JOB SUMMARY
Provide care and support for rehabilitation patients and individuals admitted to Zale, with a primary focus on the sickle cell patient population.

Master's Degree in Music Therapy

JOB DUTIES

Responsible for designing, implementing, and assessing evidence-based music therapy interventions and protocols based on best practices and patient/family needs, to include, but not limited to: psychosocial, emotional, physiological, and physical concerns.

Create and manage patient treatment plans, maintain patient documentation, develop and maintain effective working relationships with members of the health care team.

Collaborate on program planning and growth.

Maintain all departmental standards and continuing responsibilities.

Educate staff across numerous disciplines about the benefits of music therapy with regard to psychosocial, emotional, physiological, and physical concerns.
