About Job

Turning Steel Boxes into Game-Changing Spaces

You don’t just complete a scope—you refine it.

You read plans like blueprints for efficiency. You spot flaws before they hit the floor. You’re hands-on, process-focused, and lead by doing the job right, every time. If you’re the type who sees craftsmanship as a system, not an accident—we’ve got the role for you.

ROXBOX is looking for a Finish Team Lead (Working Supervisor) to run the finish phase of our modular builds. You’ll manage a cross-functional crew while staying on the tools yourself—planning tasks, keeping quality high, and working closely with engineering and project teams to deliver custom spaces built to spec.

Skills Needed (AKA Your Superpowers):

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with commercial construction finishes—drywall, paint, trim, framing, and insulation

  • 2+ years of crew leadership in a construction or manufacturing environment

  • Proficient in reading construction drawings and build specs

  • Strong communicator—clear, calm, and direct

  • Skilled at coaching others and reinforcing quality

  • Comfortable using digital tools (Google Suite, digital plans, task trackers)

  • Process-focused and proactive—you don’t wait to be told there’s a better way

What You’ll Do:

  • Plan the Work – Build and communicate the weekly game plan. Assign tasks, prepare the space, and ensure material readiness.

  • Lead the Floor – Frame, finish, paint, and install with precision. Train new team members and lead by example.

  • Monitor & Improve – Track progress, reinforce standards, and make daily adjustments to stay on schedule.

  • Solve in Real Time – Clarify scope, interpret drawings, and flag issues early. You fix before it festers.

  • Bridge the Gap – Coordinate between shop, engineering, and project management. Translate plans into reality with minimal rework.

  • Maintain Safety & Order – Uphold clean, organized workspaces and enforce PPE usage and protocol compliance.

Job Details:

  • Location: Houston, TX (on-site)

  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday

  • Employment Type: Hourly with full benefits

  • Compensation Range: $28–$30/hr DOE

  • Reports To: Production Manager

Physical & Training Requirements:

  • Able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs

  • Stand, squat, bend, and walk for long periods in a production environment

  • Work around dust, fumes, and noise in a shop environment

  • Wear PPE (hard hats, safety glasses, respirators, hearing protection) as needed

  • Complete required safety and quality control training

Why ROXBOX?

We’re not your average shop. ROXBOX builds high-quality, custom modular structures that demand precision, planning, and smart execution. If you want to be part of a team that builds things right the first time, here’s what you’ll get:

  • Work that matters – One-of-a-kind modular builds, not rinse-and-repeat installs

  • Smart systems – A team committed to process improvement and build efficiency

  • Attention to detail – A culture that values clean lines, tight tolerances, and a job done right

  • Team you can trust – Skilled tradespeople who take pride in their craft

  • Room to grow – Real opportunity to level up your skills and leadership

  • Fast-paced, no B.S. environment – Where planning meets execution and results matter
