Part Time - ABA Behavior Technician - Queen Creek/Gilbert

Sami's Angels ABA Services is seeking to hire a compassionate ABA Behavior Technician to provide direct services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other developmental disorders in various settings serving the clients behavioral health needs, implementing therapeutic interventions and working closely with the BCBA on supervision and treatment plan updates. This role requires knowledge of applied behavior analysis and data collection to track progress.

Location: In the Client Home in Queen Creek and in our Gilbert Developmental ABA center

Hours / Schedule: This is a Part Time role of around 24 hours per week.We do have other clients we may be able to pair you with for more of a full-time role if that is something you may want. **Monday and Thursday and Friday 2:30pm - 6:30pm In Client Home in Queen Creek. Tuesday and Wednesday 11:30am - 6:30pm at our Gilbert Developmental Center.

Key responsibilities include:

· Helping clients improve self-help, socialization, and adaptive skills for home and community settings.

· Running programs focused on independent living skills, developmental skills, mobility training, sensory motor development, and behavioral management.

· Implementing daily treatment goals using specified strategies.

· Collecting daily data on treatment goals.

· Record data on behavioral patterns and responses to interventions.

· Completing daily summary reports based on collected data.

· Collaborating with supervisors, BCBAs, and parents for effective treatment implementation.

· Providing one-on-one services in home, school, center, or community settings as per goals.

· Maintaining a reliable and predictable schedule with families.

· Work directly with children to encourage positive behavior and skill growth.

· Keep accurate medical documentation and comply with HIPAA regulations.

**Always Maintaining Professional Boundaries with client families and overall Professionalism.

Experience

· Prefer experience with children in therapeutic or educational settings.

· Knowledge of applied behavior analysis techniques

· Highly desirable experience in behavioral therapy data collection methods.

· Background in special education or related fields is a plus.

Qualifications: ​

• High school diploma or equivalent (minimum). ​
• At least 2 years of experience working with children. ​
• 1 year of ABA experience preferred but not required. ​
• 1 year of HAB experience preferred but not required
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license. ​

Physical and Mental Requirements: ​

• Ability to assist clients physically, including lifting/transferring up to 50 lbs. ​
• Ability to walk, kneel, stand, and bend. ​
• Patience and ability to handle high-stress situations. ​
• Familiarity with internet and app-based programs for data collection. ​
