About Job

Innovations Community Mental Health Center is an outpatient facility where we provide casemanagement, group therapy (PHP and IOP), individual therapy, family therapy, and medication management for adults and adolescents who suffer from mild to severe and chronic mental illnesses, including chemical dependency.

Our Clinical department is looking for licensed therapists (LPC/LPC-I) to provide therapy to patients with mental health disorders.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Must be able to work independently and efficiently within our EMR (Electronic Medical Record)
  • Conducts group and individual therapy sessions, displaying good theoretical knowledge of group dynamics and good group management techniques
  • Completes all notes and documentation in a timely, ethical, and high quality manner per Innovation CMHC's policies and procedures, following The Joint Commission and Medicare guidelines/standards
  • Engages in timely efficient patient case conferences in conjunction with physician, staff, patients and families.

Qualifications and Skills

All applicants MUST hold a valid & current TEXAS LPC or LPC-I; MUST have experience working with patients with mental health disorders including, but not limited to, dual diagnosis with substance abuse: and MUST have experience working with the adult and adolescent mental health population in an outpatient setting.
