Responsibilities:
- Conduct client assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans
- Provide individual, family and group counseling sessions to clients
- Utilize various therapeutic techniques such as play therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, art therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy
- Assist patients in developing coping skills and strategies for managing mental health conditions
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess mental health conditions and develop treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
Skills:
- Strong knowledge and experience in play therapy techniques and strategies
- Strong knowledge and experience in behavioral health and social work
- Expertise in providing care for clients with PTSD and other mental health conditions
- Proficient in conducting client assessments and diagnostic evaluations
- Ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans based on individual patient needs
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with clients during counseling sessions
- Strong understanding of different therapeutic techniques, including cognitive behavioral therapy, art therapy, and play therapy
