Job Description Summary:
Faegre Drinker has an opportunity for a Community Service and Pro Bono Coordinator to work with our Pro Bono & Community Service group in our Minneapolis, Washington D.C., Chicago, Denver, or downtown Indianapolis office. You will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to coordinating a broad range of administrative tasks that support the success of the community service and pro bono programs overall. This position will work with other talented individuals who share a passion for doing great work in the best interest of our clients.Job Description:
What you would do:
- Coordinate logistics for firm-sponsored community service projects across U.S. and London offices, including scheduling, communications, and follow-up, partnering appropriately with the internal or external events team
- Have an active role in coordinating the Firm’s participation in community events, including tracking multiple deadlines, preparing announcements, managing RSVPs, and organizing materials
- Support the Community Service Manager in coordinating the planning and execution of firm-wide giving campaigns
- Assists with preparing internal and external reports, surveys, and other materials related to the firm’s community services and pro bono activities
- Coordinate firm attendance at events and meetings sponsored by partner legal aid organizations, including tracking multiple deadlines, coordinating program ads, requesting payment, drafting, and circulating invitations and tracking attendees
- Responsible for special projects and other duties, as assigned

The anticipated initial hourly rate for someone who is hired into this position is $33.00– $37.00/hour based on a 37.5 hour a week schedule.
Actual initial hourly rate may be above or below the above-identified range and will be based on the relevant skills, training, experience, and other job-related factors, including the location where the position is filled, in all cases consistent with applicable law. This is a non-exempt role paid on an hourly basis. The initial hourly rate listed above is just one component of Faegre Drinker's total compensation and benefits package for professional staff, which includes, but is not limited to, a discretionary bonus; life, health, accident, and disability insurance; and a 401(k) plan.
What is required:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience.
- Minimum of two years of experience in a comparable position in a professional services or law firm setting.
- Solid time-management skills, ability to organize and coordinate multiple concurrent projects.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office software including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word and aptitude for learning new software and systems.
