About Job

This position supports the patients and families admitted to the Surgical Care Unit and the outpatient CranioFacial Clinic. The social worker assesses for patient/family needs and develops intervention plans and refers to community resources to meet identified needs. As part of the multidisciplinary team, the social worker collaborates to provide family centered care. LGSW/LICSW in the District of Columbia is required. Experience in healthcare strongly preferred.
