Job Position: School Social Worker (FMLA Coverage)

Location: Romeoville, IL 60446

Pay Rate: $40.00/hr to $50.00/hr

Description:

Birch Agency is currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated School Social Worker to provide support services at an elementary school near Bolingbrook, IL. This is a full-time position covering a Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) leave from August through October.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide counseling and social-emotional support to elementary-level students

• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to promote student well-being

• Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on social-emotional goals

• Support students with behavioral or attendance challenges

• Act as a liaison between school and community agencies

Qualifications:

• Masters Degree in Social Work (MSW)

• Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Work Endorsement

• Previous experience working with elementary-aged students preferred

• Strong communication and collaboration skills
