Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical counseling and be committed to providing high-quality mental health services to individuals and families. This role involves working within a hospital setting, where you will support patients dealing with various challenges, including those related to autism and other behavioral health issues. The LCSW will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing therapeutic interventions.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' mental health and emotional well-being.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical evaluations.
- Provide clinical counseling and behavioral therapy to patients, utilizing evidence-based practices.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for patients.
- Manage cases effectively, coordinating with other healthcare professionals as needed.
- Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions and treatment options.
- Stay current with developments in psychopharmacology and integrate knowledge into practice.
- Support patients in navigating healthcare systems and accessing necessary resources.
Experience
- A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
- Valid state licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
- Experience in clinical counseling within a hospital or similar healthcare setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with coding practices related to medical documentation is a plus.
- Proven ability to work effectively with individuals on the autism spectrum and other behavioral health challenges.
- Strong skills in case management, ensuring comprehensive care for clients.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
