Job Summary:

Mental Health/SUD agency looking for a Clinical Director responsible for overseeing all clinical operations within the mental health agency. This leadership role ensures the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based mental health services, supervises clinical staff, and maintains compliance with state, federal, and accrediting body regulations. The ideal candidate is a licensed mental health professional with strong leadership, organizational, and clinical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical oversight for all therapy, psychiatric, and case management services.
  • Supervise and support licensed therapists, psychologists, case managers, and interns.
  • Develop and implement clinical policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and professional standards.
  • Conduct regular audits of client records and documentation for quality assurance.
  • Participate in program development, strategic planning, and community outreach.
  • Facilitate ongoing training, supervision, and professional development for clinical staff.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure integrated and client-centered care.
  • Manage client grievances, crises, and high-risk situations as needed.
  • Track and analyze clinical outcomes and prepare reports for stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctorate in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
  • Current and valid clinical license (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, Psychologist) in [State].
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and legal standards.
  • Proven ability to lead, manage, and inspire a diverse clinical team.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and clinical documentation systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with trauma-informed care, integrated behavioral health, or substance use treatment.
  • Familiarity with Medicaid, managed care, and insurance billing procedures.
  • Bilingual skills a plus.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • On call
  • Weekends as needed
