    The SouthWest Metro Intermediate District #288 has an immediate full-time opening for a Behavior Analyst for district-wide support (.6 FTE) within SouthWest Metro Intermediate programs and Waconia (.4 FTE).

    Description:
    Behavior Analyst, 8 hours a day, 185 Days

    Pay & Benefits:

    Job Summary:
    • Facilitate and coach teams through the development and implementation of functional behavior assessments/behavior interventions, plans and crisis plans for identified students;
    • Provide social skills instruction to students utilizing research-based methodologies and approved district curricula.
    • Implement and coach school personnel on research-based methods of classroom management and behavioral strategies;
    • Collaborate with school personnel, agencies, and families in coordinating individualized ESE services for Students;
    • Complete all reporting requirements as mandated by the district, state, federal, and educational agencies (i.e. restraint and seclusion, assessments, behavioral data);
    • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments;
    • Support teams in writing Behavior Intervention Plans;
    • Participate in the development of Individualized Educational Programs for students;
    • Collect and summarize behavioral data;
    • Assist with student crisis intervention;
    • Perform other duties as assigned;
    Qualifications:
    • Board Certified Behavior Analyst Credential
    • Able to travel between sites
    • Strong teamwork, communication and report writing skills.
