POSITION DESCRIPTION 2023

$2500.00 Signing Bonus:

Project Pathfinder has been providing prevention programs for over 30 years. Using what we know about the factors that contribute to sexual abuse, we implement programs that stop abuse from happening in the first place. We are passionate about providing affordable and effective treatment services in cooperation with allied professionals who are involved in a client’s treatment plan.

Job Description
$21.00 Hourly based on qualifications

Primary coordination of program referrals:

  • Outline/explain program scope to potential clients, referral sources or third‐parties
  • Determine type of referral being made: evaluation or intake
  • Screen appropriateness of referral
  • Decide appropriate funding source(s)
  • Assess and obtain necessary background documentation prior to appointment
  • Schedule all intake appointments for Clinical Services across service locations
  • Facilitate Federal intake process
  • Ongoing coordination with referral sources through completion of intake process

Conduct pre‐intake interview and screening with client:

  • Entry of background and client data into Profiler system
  • Decide if Static‐99R Risk Assessment instrument is applicable and administer as appropriate
  • Review intake forms with client, explaining PPI policies and procedure relating to treatment process
  • Travel to satellite locations to facilitate intake procedures as needed
  • Consult with intake therapist as needed

Assist billing and clinical staff in ensuring client funding is current:

  • Verify available funding with all payors
  • Prescreening of insurance benefits
  • File pre‐authorization of services, process responses
  • Enter billing information into system and forward to billing department
  • Assign fees to clients during intake process

Track and maintain documentation necessary for operation of clinical services:

  • Treatment wait list
  • Active client tally
  • Orientation group tally/tracking
  • Timeliness of report completion
  • Group schedule updates
  • Intake Master Documents

Testing:

  • Decide which psychological test(s) need to be completed
  • Proctor and score psychological testing and Abel screening
  • Maintain and order testing materials
  • Chart necessary documentation

Lead clinical disposition meetings:

  • Track client changes and make corresponding updates in system
  • Chart client status changes
  • Verify treatment plans are entered and assign clients to group
  • Facilitate workbook delivery

Case Management Services:

  • Provide consultation about adjunct services (state health care, community resources, therapy referrals) to colleagues, clients, and third parties
  • Attend external information meetings
  • Remain current with government/community based systems (health care, supportive services, employment)
  • Update the PPI resource book

Attend internal Staff meetings and case consultation.
Attend internal and external contract implementation meetings.

Dispense, track, order and update client treatment materials

Other duties as assigned.
1. Provide back up to Front Desk and Admin staff as needed

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1. BA in Human/Social Services, Criminal Justice, Mental Health or related discipline.
2. Experience in Mental Health or Social Services agency.

3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; attention to detail; organized; self starter and adheres to strict professional and confidential conduct.

4. Professional work experience in the field of sexual abuse/violence.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT
Work is performed in a standard office environment, which requires occasionally lifting such articles as file boxes or heavier materials with help from others and/or lifting and carrying light objects frequently. Mobility to drive a motor vehicle in order to attend meetings. A job in this category may require walking or standing to a significant degree or may involve sitting most of the time with long periods of computer work and heavy phone usage.

Skill in communication, interpersonal skills as applies to interaction with coworkers, supervisor, the general public, etc. sufficient to exchange or convey information and to receive work direction. Organization and data management skills.
