Job's House is URGENTLY HIRING multiple candidates for Residential Counselor who are trained in CPI prevention, EUMR, FBA,PSTP. Job's House is looking for BT levels I and II staffing. The right persons' for this position will have experience working in a HIGH paced 2:1 setting such as, hospital setting, residential care facilities, CRS, AFC, school settings and more. Job's House will train the right candidates who meet these qualifications. This is a HIGH LEVEL program that requires efficiently skilled individuals who know how to analyze problematic behaviors, skilled in de-escalation, documentation and professional communications.

Skills and Experience:

• 1+ year of experience with working individual with severe and persistent mental Illness and chronic medical conditions (preferred)
• 1+ year experience with implementing Positive Support Strategies and/or behavior management techniques with individuals who have high behaviors (biting, hitting, kicking) (requirement)
• Strong communication and documentation skills (requirement)
• Ability to interpret behavioral trends
• Experience with person-centered thinking and planning (preferred)
• Judgment and decision-making skills to handle crisis situations and day-to-day events.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Autism experience is a MUST have
• Ability to work in a group setting or 2:1 with client(s)
• Ability to maintain a level of professionalism with clients and their families
• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Previous experience with ASD and ABA Therapy (recommended)

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
