About The Position
Job Title: Mental Health Coordinator Profession: Health Services Specialty: LPC, LCSW, LMFT Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 1st and 2nd shifts Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, including 2 years in a comparable job position License: Must possess appropriate LPC, LCSW, or LMFT certification or licensing in the state where practice occurs Certifications: Valid driver's license preferred Must-Have: Graduate from an accredited college or university with a Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related clinical area. Minimum age requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age. Description: This position involves planning and providing clinical mental health services of a non-medical nature. Successful candidates will perform all functions consistent with job performance requirements. Conduct mental health screenings and assessments based on a review of available records and clinical interviews. Provide treatment by developing, implementing, and modifying individual treatment plans based on evaluations of needs and level of functioning. Document treatment and evaluation activities in health care records for each individual seen. Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive materials and information at all times. Demonstrate thorough knowledge of psychological counseling theory and techniques through treatments and activities used for individuals in caseloads. Provide appropriate mental health assessments, counseling, and crisis interventions to address individual needs.
