Assistant Professor of Psychology
JOB SUMMARY
Teach undergraduate psychology courses which may include: General Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Physiological Psychology and Cognitive Psychology

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Communicate to excellence in undergraduate teaching and academic advising REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to integrate technology and innovative teaching methods into the curriculum.
  • Willingness to collaborate with colleagues to enhance academic programs.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and oral
  • Commitment to the mission of a Christian university and student success.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Master’s in Psychology or related field is required.
  • A Ph. D. in Psychology is preferred.
  • Experience teaching at the university level is preferred.
  • Special consideration will be given to those with graduate study in Sports Psychology.
