This could be a full time position OR part time if a candidate only wanted to work at one buliding or a few days a week.JOB SUMMARY:
Utilize leadership, advocacy, and collaboration to promote student success, provide preventive services, and respond to identified student needs by implementing a comprehensive school counseling program that addresses academic, career, and personal/social development for all students.MINIMAL ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
  • Serve as member of the established student support team and Section 504 Team.
  • Implement guidance curriculum and career/education programs for students.
  • Use data to develop comprehensive programs that meet student needs.
  • Maintain current and appropriate resources for education stakeholders.
  • Provide responsive and preventive services to students as necessary.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
  • Master’s degree or higher.
  • Appropriate Missouri school counseling certification.
  • Elementary counseling experience preferred.
COMPENSATION: Salary will be commensurate with education and experience using the 2024-25 Teacher Salary Schedule. Benefits are offered with this position.
