School Psychologist – 2025–2026 School Year – In‑Person
Ampersand Therapy is hiring a dedicated School Psychologist for the 2025–2026 school year! We are a women- and therapist-founded company that began in Washington and is now also local to Illinois. We offer in-person, full-time positions and are excited to welcome passionate, equity-driven School Psychologists to our team.
Position Details
Schedule: Full-Time
Location: In-person
Start Date: August 2025
Service Area: Counseling caseload (10–15 students), evaluations, IEP support, and school-based consultation
Your Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive student evaluations
- Provide ongoing counseling to a small caseload
- Prepare IEP reports and participate in IEP meetings
- Support MTSS processes, conduct classroom observations, and assist with problem-solving
- Respond to crisis calls as needed
- Deliver progress reports and maintain compliant documentation
- Collaborate with school staff and multidisciplinary teams
What We’re Looking For
- Master’s degree in School Psychology or equivalent
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement
- National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) certification is a plus
- Strong skills in student assessment, data analysis, and IEP development
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
