School Social Worker – 2025–2026 School Year – In-Person

Ampersand Therapy is hiring dedicated School Social Workers for the 2025–2026 school year. We offer both full-time and part-time in-person positions.

Position Details

Schedule: Full-Time or Part-Time
Location: In-person
Start Date: August 2025
Service Area: IEP minutes, documentation, staff meetings, and collaboration with Special Education teams

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Complete IEP minutes and required documentation
  • Collaborate closely with school Special Education teams
  • Attend staff meetings and participate in multidisciplinary collaboration
  • Manage caseload (discussed during interview)
  • Work primarily in elementary school single-building settings

What We’re Looking For

  • Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) required
  • Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) in Social Work required
  • Experience working in schools or Special Education is a plus
  • Bilingual English-Spanish skills are a huge plus but not required
