About Job
- Provide leadership in Social/Emotional/Behavioral interventions as well as academic interventions.
- Create and co-lead the student support team/MTSS.
- Meet with administration team to review referrals and interventions.
- Drive, co-lead and support implementation of tier 1 program; support teachers and offer PD and training when needed. Ensure connection with tier 2/3 interventions.
- Create singular or multiple cross-grade tier 2 groups.
- Maintain awareness of student diagnoses, develop and update plans for tier 3 students, and share with staff as needed.
- Connect with and support parents as needed, providing referrals to PSC team.
- Provide and encourage outside referrals for students as needed.
- Career and College guidance
- Master's degree from four-year college or university or in school counseling program
- Experience as a High School Counselor
- MN School Counselor License required
