The Resident Care Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of a residential facility dedicated to providing high-quality care for seniors. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the residence, ensuring that all operations run smoothly.
- Oversee medication administration and ensure compliance with resident rights and safety protocols.
- Provide direct support to residents, promoting their independence and enhancing their quality of life.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals, families, and residents.
- Manage staff schedules, conduct performance evaluations, and provide ongoing training to ensure high standards of care.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to resident care, incidents, and staff performance.
- Facilitate case management meetings to discuss resident progress and address any concerns or changes in care needs.
- Ensure that the residence adheres to all regulatory requirements related to AFC operations and memory care services.
Requirements
- Proven experience in an Assisted Living or other senior care setting is highly desirable.
- Background in nursing or related healthcare field preferred; experience working with elderly individuals is required.
- Strong knowledge of medication administration protocols and resident rights.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support staff effectively.
- Proficient in case management systems and documentation practices.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong focus on interpersonal relationships.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism.
