Inpatient, Acute Psychiatric Unit Need FT Consult Liaison until Perm provider hired.

This need would be supporting the Mental Health Unit for either the adult or the adolescent unit but can also be available to support the Children's hospital, Psychiatric Emergency Room and/or medical floors should a consult be needed.

After hire would still need a Locum to provide supplemental coverage throughout the year as needed.

Scheduled Clinical Hours Call Shift: FT, 8 hr.

days, M-Su Call: Week on/Week off schedule, low call volume Call coverage as part of the shift for patients assigned to the unit.

Locum will cover call on the evenings of the days worked.

Call Response: 20 min.

Phone Consults required.

75% Adult, 25% Peds, 100% IP Ratio of Follow ups to new Evaluations: 4:1 Clinical Area Disorders: Anxiety, Affective, ADD/ADHD, Personality, Eating, Psychotic Admissions Required Hospital Stroke Certified PPS: 20 per Physician/shift No teaching or supervision required.

Group: 4 Physicians Other Psychiatrists present during Locum coverage.

Support Staff: RN, Techs, Mental Health Therapists Onsite Security and training in de-escalation.

EMR: EPIC Expenses covered, weekly pay and Occurrence Form Malpractice insurance provided.
